Choi Byeongseok (ODO)

Choi Byeongseok is a Korean artist and designer whose work explores the relationship between machinery, function, and form. Drawing inspiration from vintage machinery, industrial materials, and electronic components, he combines technical knowledge with a sculptural approach to design.

Founded by Choi, ODO is an audio design practice exploring the relationship between sound, objects, and space. Drawing on audio technology and materials, ODO designs and builds custom loudspeakers and amplifiers that balance function and form.

Beyond technical performance and efficiency, the practice places equal importance on the sensory experience of listening and the ways in which audio objects inhabit everyday spaces.

ODO explores audio as both an instrument for listening and an object for contemplation, serving as a sculptural element that shapes a space's character and atmosphere.
